OP: So it was my understanding that Ubuntu was a form of prison abolition (my apologies if I misunderstood it) and that it was employed in Rwanda, but Rwanda had a Tribunal
OP: Moreover, people like Clinton and Obama have praised it and they certainly believe in prisons
OP: It seems to be more of a communitarianism principle, but couldn't a community still sentence someone to jail for life
OP: Also in terms of understanding the other side be giving victim statements credence which some in the criminal justice reform movement oppose?
